Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary
Girl Scouts turns 100 on March 12, 2012. Farthest North Girl Scout Council has lot of events planned to make this year special.
Calendar of Events
- August 26 - Through the Decades Recruitment Party at the Pioneer Park Civic Center, 6 - 8 pm
- September 30 - Into the Future On-Time Party at the Girl Scout BP Room, Daisy & Brownie 6 - 7 pm and Juniors and older 7:30 - 8:30 pm
- October 31 - Juliette Low's Birthday Party at the council office, 4 - 5:30 pm
- March 10 - 100th Anniversary Party at the Pioneer Park Civic Center, 10 - 4 pm
- March 12 - First Girl Scout troop meets with founder Juliette Low in Savannah, Georgia. Girls around Alaska are celebrating the event with a troop campfire.
- April 14 - Council annual meeting, 9:30 - 12 pm
- May 10 - Council-wide bridging
- June 22 - 26 Older girl trip to Savannah, GA
