Who can resist the fun of Girl Scouting? By volunteering you can meet new friends, be a mentor, acquire new skills, share your skills, gain professional development opportunities and free training, have fun, give back to your community.

What can I do?
For every girl we reach, hundreds more need our help. You can make a difference in a girl's life. Please consider serving in one of these volunteer positions:
Council Sponsored Program Events: You can volunteer at events like "Junior or Brownie Event" days, interactive events where girls experience a variety of new experiences and meet other Girl Scouts.
Troop or Assistant Leader: Adult leaders guide a specific group of girls in planning and carrying out Girl Scout activities. Farthest North Council offers comprehensive training to help leaders gain the necessary skills to carry out the Girl Scout program. Most training is offered at no charge.
Girl Scout Green Hat Club Volunteer: This groups meets socially, usually once per month for various council projects such as preparing mailings.
Girl Scout Retail Shop Volunteer: Help at our Retail Shop and receive special shop discounts.
